A piece of gear I would recommend on any hunt involving an interior stove would be a portable CO detector. Our hut was heated by a diesel stove given there are no trees for hundreds of miles in any direction. The hut is a shared resource and who knows if the chimney or flu has been knocked around or disrupted since last use?
Given that CO is colorless and orderless, I figured the detector was cheap insurance. Just sayin'.
