We are supposed to get several FEET in the cascades this week, going to take screenshots each morning and see how it effects our snowpack percentages based on the snotel website

I went for a hike last week up near Augusta. You could drive in 15 miles further than last year, and the deepest snow i encountered was maybe 18". Pretty sad!

Pretty bleak in some areas.

We’re sitting good here in AK for snowfall/pack, with most if not all, areas in the state above normal, but it’s the extreme cold weather that is really setting a persistent. This winter, across the state, has been the coldest we’ve seen in the last 55 years. The only rival is the winter of 1970/71. It was -45° in areas around Fairbanks last night.
