2026 Rokslide World Cup Thread

Is this a new thing? One of the things that makes me not enjoy soccer so much is how they act like they’re dying then 5 seconds full sprint. I watched that call get pulled back after review and was glad to see
Yes. They are working with technology morre to try and address certain problems. Most people hate the obvious simulation. Its cheating plain and simple.

The fan experience in Kansas City was a lot of fun. It wasn‘t too crowded, and the weather was great.

The games today have been very good.

You must be a real soccer fan - you're traveling to games and paying real money to see them. Good for you. Soccer is a great sport that (sadly) fails to get its honorable due in the USA.

Are tickets any cheaper now? 280 was the cheapest i could find for later group games in my area

We lucked out with our Argentina tickets b/c of the lottery. They were $160 each but the seats are just ok. Our family of 4 is going.

Japan vs Sweden we paid $400 each ( but only my wife and I are going) and we already live in Dallas.

For $280, I would grab a ticket or two even if you don’t necessarily care about the teams playing. The fan atmosphere has been the best part. People from around the world are here experiencing American hospitality. People are live streaming, google translating, cheering, etc. everywhere you go.

Here in KC, the KU marching band learned the Algerian national anthem and played it for them when they arrived. Stuff like that is pretty cool politics and religion aside.
