2026 Private Land Elk Outfitters

Hello Roksliders!

I am looking for recommendations on a 2026 Private Land Bull Elk Outfitter for my Dad and I.

We are 2nd time elk hunters with our first trip not going very well in an OTC Unit in Colorado around 10,000ft elevation.

We are looking for the following:

• Rifle Hunt - Later October 20th
• Private Land - We would prefer private land access.
• Moderate Terrain - Lower than 10k ft.
• Opportunity Rates - We are looking for a very good opportunity rate style hunt with the focus on a legal bull elk - 4x4, 5x5, not looking for a 300+ inch elk.
• 2x1 Guided - Ideally, my Dad would hunt a bull with me coming along with a Cow/Mule Deer Tag - or as a non-hunter.

Budget is around 10k.

We have multiple points in Colorado; but would consider other states as well.

All of them should have outfitter and Lo tags availiable.

NM will run you 15 to start if you don’t draw the tag. But with no points there is a possibility.
