2026 Moose Hunt

Just signed up for a repeat hunt of this year. Son is going to try a bow this next time. Figured I better do it while I can. Anybody else getting excited for 2026 moose?

I’m getting stoked. Headed to Alberta in 26. Booked in 24. It’ll be my first moose hunt as the trigger man.

Im booked for 2026 as well. Getting the details ironed out .hoping for an easy winter and early spring in alaska for the animals. Always fun planning and packing for the next adventure!!

Brother & I went 2 for 2 in Alberta this year. I’m heading back to Alaska unguided next year. Past 60 now, I never know how long I’ll be able to enjoy the unguided thing. It’s already to the point where I have to be careful where I kill one. A long or difficult pack job might cure me of the DIY bug real quick! For now, I’m all in.

heading to newfoundland in october 26, my dad uncle and I. I'm a mix of excited and overwhelmed, heading home next weekend to hunt deer with dad and need to see if it is him or his rifle that isn't shooting consistently if it's his gun I need to scope another rifle of mine, load up more practice & hunting ammunition for a rifle and visit this spring to get him something better to shoot

River Run Outfitting, haven't found anything online but the references checked out and fb page seems good and e-mails were answered so they've got our down payment. I'd sort of like my dad to take my scoped 280ai and me take the 338-06 with open sights but we'll see, figure guys shoot them with bows so i should be able to get close and swap guns if needed

I’m looking forward to hearing how the trip goes. I’m heading to Newfoundland in 2027. I’m bringing my 280ai or 30-06. I’m going to work up loads this spring to see what shoots the best.
