2026 Idaho Controlled Hunts

My personal conspiracy theory is that Brandt outdoor solutions people are currently comparing the list of applicants to the list of GoHunt customers and ensuring that all of their new clients get tags.

It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy that a third party we know nothing about that has no oversight is handling all this.

It seems like results usually post around 10am - if I recall MSG did this year, and in previous years it seemed like 10am was the magic time the site got funky.

I would say 10 AM to noon is the likely window, I’d accept them in the afternoon as long as it’s today

What's the story behind this? Or did you just completely make it up? lol

Hmm. Makes me wonder if Brandt will be able to provide GOHUNT with a level of state data access unavailable to others. I also wonder if state departments are watching this.

May need a few people to write in to Idaho F&G about the conflict of interest in the owners of GoHunt being the ones running the draw. No stones thrown at GoHunt, they've been a great company. Just doesn't seem like the kind of conflict of interest that should be indulged. Especially in the competitive market they exist in.

Can anyone shed some insight on why last year it was 9 days and this year they are saying early July?
For archery hunters, that only gives you about 4 weeks for hunt logistics. Factor in work, PTO and family obligations and there is virtually zero time to be thoroughly prepared.
