Every NR that applied for the general tags, we need to be sure to remind them all that there is another controlled hunt opportunity with the license they already bought.

Yeah it was faster than the moose, sheep, goat draw last year if I recall and was like 7-9 days

That annual Idaho draw grind is pure masochism building hype for months just to get crushed again. The waiting queue disappointment combo is basically a yearly tradition for most guys.

Hang in there, or at least have a backup plan ready. Good luck.

Nope. My app is in and I'm already impatient knowing the draw hasn't even closed haha

Its going to be the same for me like it is every year, but I put in for a southern Idaho elk tag thats like 5% odds, what gets me is I know one guy that's drawn that tag 3 times in the last 9 years and another guy who's drawn it 2x in 5 years. I have never drawn it in 11 years of applying.....

I feel your pain. I'm on 10 years of draws with only one extra doe tag and a cow tag drawn. Meanwhile friends in that same period have drawn sheep, goat, bull, and buck tags!

But there's always a chance!

Still wouldn’t have it any other way. Always a chance and every year is an opportunity to change your application to fit your schedule or try something new.
