2026 Grizzly/ Brown Bear hunt….who's going?

Just got out of camp from my hunt. Pretty brutal weather for several days. Got it done on day 6 with a 9’ bear. Exactly the bear I have dreamed about. Spent the next 5 days trying to get a plane in. I’ll post my story when I can gather all of my thoughts. IMG_6382.jpegIMG_6437.jpeg

Got it done opening day north of Sand Point on the bearing sea side of the peninsula. 9’ to 9’6 sow, we never squared her due to weather and location of kill which was a steep mountain. Swore it was a bore until we flipped her to start skinning. Beautiful and claws. Quite the experience!IMG_2242.jpeg

Got back last night. Tag soup for me but had an amazing time. 13 days in a tent on the peninsula chasing them was very cool. I'm headed back either next year or 2029.

Congrats to those who filled there tag!!!

Had a tough hunt on the Penninsula with cold weather. Lowest bear activity at the beach camp I was on in many seasons. Hunters bailed after 12 days. Went 1 for 2 on a nice 16 yr old bear measuring 9'10".

Headed up this fall for a Grizzly/ Black Bear combo hunt in SW Alaska. Flying out of Port alsworth headed due north of the peninsula. Today, I am planning to take a 7PRC with the 160 Barnes LRX as I have the most confidence with this rifle at this time…

Bowhunted down on the Kenai Peninsula mid-May. Got this 8 1/2' boar on 2nd to last night of what was a really amazing hunt. If you're looking for a bear guide I can't say enough good about Tyler Kuhn! I had a blast hunting with him and would go back tomorrow and do it again.IMG_20260522_161511.jpg
