2026 Colo Sheep/Goat draw this week and mentoring of new tag holders

Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it on June 20th, I will be out of state that weekend. I really would have liked to make it to share info from my sheep hunt and gather info for the goat hunt.
 
Good day everyone and congrats to all of you that drew a tag! I will definitely be attending the event as I somehow drew an archery ram tag for S44! Seems like a low population unit but excited all the same! If any of you have hunted there in the past I would love any and all insights you'd be willing to provide.

Man, that is a cool event. I'll likely never draw a sheep tag, but if I do I'd aim to make that event!
 
Registration for Meet & Greet is now open!!

Sign up as a new tag holder and/or to attend and mentor the new tag holders here.

Very important to get signed up in advance so we have the info on units drawn and/or units you are familiar with. We go to great lengths to ensure we have experienced mentors to help tag holders for each and every hunt unit. We also put effort into matching up new tag holders with the mentors who have ‘been there/done’ that so y’all can meet up and chat about scouting and hunt strategies, access points, etc. With a crowd of well over 300 folks in attendance we even print up name badges with your info on it!

I was shocked to get S20 Rifle, anyone with firsthand experience in S20? I am all ears. Unfortunately, I am out of the country June 20.

@Owens Coincidentally?, two guys registered on Saturday within an hour of each other saying they drew S12. Did you and a buddy BOTH draw? I drew sheep with a buddy same tag same year back in 2005. That was cool.
 
Registered for my S33 tag. Looking forward to learning the area better from previous tag holders.

Just coincidence. I don't know any of the other tag holders. Yet. It would be super fun to get to do that with a buddy though.
 
Unsuccessful myself, but my hunting buddy drew 1 of 10 resident s3 ewe tags. I plan on joining to help him fill his tag. Looking forward to it!
