2026 Bear Success Thread

My son shot his first 2 bears this spring. I was quite the proud father!! When these bears came in he stayed as cool as a cucumber while my heart rate was red lining. He made two great shots, neither bear made it 20 yds. GREAT memories made with him!!!

Shot my first bear this year in Canada out of a stand and over bait but it was one of the most exciting hunts I’ve been on so far. Besides elk screaming in your face it’s the next best thing I’ve experienced

Yes those are fricken mosquitos. Millions of mosquitos. Thank goodness for thermacells!! We'd brush the buggers off to get a picture and in about 5 seconds they'd just cover their heads again!
