2025 SPEEDGOAT MEATPOLE

I suck at taking pictures but I got a pretty good one here in California. Poked a hole in him from 300 yards with my .257 weatherby. In fact my buddy and I both got decent goats. Hunted the surprise valley unit and had a great time.

Yeah, a lot of people are surprised that pronghorn live in the pines in some areas in Arizona. They're a lot of fun to hunt there if you know where to look.
I’ve seen some great pronghorn bucks in non-traditional timbered habitats. I think there’s something so cool about timber lopes!

My first DIY public land unguided successful big game hunt, I had a "horns shorter than ears" tag in northern NV, so I could only get one with short horns, but it was still a lot of fun, and feels great to finally have gotten a wild public land big game animal on my own! Got it opening morning!
