Yeah I did. This will be the only buck I've ever mounted. The black diamond is sweet. I didn't take a pic but his teeth were really worn. My dad, who's done some QDMA stuff said he's no doubt older than 41/2

My stomach dropped for a second there.

The bucks bedded a little under 30 yards below in the first pic. You can see him by the brush looking down hill pretty big cliff he’s under.

It was cool, took a while to decide if he was a shooter. He looked way smaller on the hoof for some reason. I videoed and took pics of him for 30 minutes before finally shooting him.

Oldest got it done a couple nights ago after playing cat and mouse with the buck for 3 days he finally came and bedded 100 yards from us. We have pics from the year before of him and he’s at least a 4.5yr old deer.
He turned 19 this summer and this is his third 4 point buck, his last two were with his bow.




Here’s a pic next to my buck from this year. I thought my buck was older but looking at the skull and teeth they are the same age.

Shot this guy back in January, but still in 2025. First time hunting old Mexico. Had a doe bedded up on the side of a small mountain, and happened to look his way when he turned his head otherwise would have never seen him.

Solo backcountry buck! Just moved to Idaho last week (mainly to do more of this right here) and the first weekend I got out to hunt here I connected with this buck! So stoked!

My 2025 Wyoming public land, solo mule deer. After spotting him bedded in the rocks at 1200 yards, I was able to stalk to 105 and wait him out. When it happened, it happened quickly. A great old buck for public land in Eastern Wyoming. And the packout wasn't too far at just a mile, so a bonus there.
