2025 NM Elk Draw Thread

All red here again.

The first year I lived in NM I drew a rifle bull tag in a high demand unit.

The next 2 years I drew cow tags.

After that, I moved out of state (in 2005) and have been applying as a non resident every year since then. Think I’ve drawn 1 deer tag and zero elk tags in 20 years now.

Good thing is, I’ll have a 1.5% chance (or whatever it is) again next year!

Well that 20 minutes of excitement was fun till I got to the computer and checked. 4 red bars. Having drawn Arizona right out of the gate takes some of the stress off though.
