Chain Saws from China, Chain Saws Manufacturer & Supplier - Farmertec https://share.google/qrGxyTzAcGGPd6Kmd
I have a Joncutter 5800. It's great and I recommend it but I bought it through Wagner saw shop. After shipping from China it's not a whole lot more expensive and they QC the saw a bit before they ship it out. I think there's a few other American shops selling these saws too.

Something to carry in the truck. Nothing crazy or cut tins of firewood. More a firewood for camping and random trees fallen across the road type thing. I would cut wood at our cabin here and there but again it doesnt have to be super heavy duty.
Man I would do electric for what you are saying you need

FWIW before anyone tries to do soup, you should look up how to do it. I found out the hard way with some split pea that it's not nearly as simple as using the same settings as I use for my meat...

Did the same with some curry. It was a huge mess. Liquids will boil and foam under intense vacuum. I've found the sweet spot at around 20-25 sec vacuum on my machine. It's on the verge of boiling.

Agreed. Order in US. Not worth saving $30-40 to then wait 5wks with no tracking info and no support if theres QC issue.

Agreed. I'm looking for another Milwaukee m18 after my last one was stolen out of my truck topper. I hadn't gotten much use out of it yet, but it was a great camp/truck saw.
I keep an electric chainsaw in my truck at all times. I need it almost every time I go to the farm.
