2025 Bird and Dog pics

Back in early September my youngest dog had approximately 10-15 lbs of infected fluid build up in his chest. He spent 10 days at the U of Minnesota for surgery and recovery. He made it out for his first two hunts today and yesterday. He picked up right where a left off last year sticking the first rooster of both days, as well as finding a porcupine on his first hunt back. Never take a good dog for granted.

First season chasing birds with my GSP. We’re both learning, but she’s definitely teaching me more than I’m teaching her.

Good dog work today. Birds are really getting wild on this spot. Gets hunted pretty hard. Pointed 3 groups of grouse and covey of huns. I got 88 yards from the gun point before they flew. That was the closest I got to a point today!
