My first bull! Yeah it may be a spike, but a lot of work went into making this happen!

September 12, 2025. Packout complete, truck was still 12 miles away. Only had to walk about 1 mile before running into a fellow that I had met in the woods a couple times before and he offered a ride on his quad.

First bull on a solo public land hunt. Came in screaming to my cow calls and shot him at 18 yards. He went roughly 50 yards and I listened to him take his last breaths. Absolutely amazing experience and I’m very fortunate to have drawn one of the big 3 in Oregon.View attachment 940536
