Borrow sig cross barrel tool

I am looking to borrow or rent a sig cross short action wrench. I have one ordered, but would like to get my barrel swapped out. Sig is out of stock at the moment.

I didn't need a tool to change mine, just used a AR armorer's wrench, a 27mm combination wrench, and a barrel vice.

I figured i could get it done without, i would just feel better having the tool.

I also dont have a barrel vise

None of it was very tight, I think you could do it with an armorer's wrench, 1 1/16 or 27mm closed end or crow's foot, and one of those AICS magazine blocks.

So after changing the barrel on mine I'm going to just send the rifle to PVA or whoever to change the barrel for me. My buddy can swap barrels with his eyes closed. But the Sig was a huge pain to do.

I'm not sure what problems he had. I have one barrel that was a prefit, and that was a snap. For my other barrel I had to pull the extension off the original barrel and headspace the new one. That was pretty much exactly like setting headspace on a Remage, pretty easy really.
