I was thrilled to be able to take this bear as my first over the Memorial Day weekend. I figure he was a medium sized boar as I measured him right at 5’ nose to tail, but the hide definitely warranted shelling out for a rug.

Had an awesome trip to BC for my first guided bear hunt. Tagged out on day 4 with my first bear ever.

I took my son out bear hunting for his first time with me, and I was able to get one. I like the picture with him in it the best.

Went back to a honey hole I found years ago but haven’t hunted since 2019. Took a boar shooting off hand at 80 yards, good to see the old spot still produced.

Had my old man along which is always good, we live across the province from each other so we usually only get 1-2 trips in a year together.
