2024 Wyoming Bighorns hunt

Hey guys. I think at 10 points I could draw one of the Bighorn Mountain units, 36,37,38 etc. 2 things....Any advice on a unit and does anybody have recommendations for a drop camp style outfitter in that area?

Ok, maybe 3 things. Is there a better option with 10 points?

Ask for an outfitter in the Bighorns.

Pretty sure that's what I did. I mentioned 3 unit numbers and added an etc as to include other units within the bighorns.

Don't know anyone personally but go the Wyoming outfitters page. Good resource to find an outfitter in areas you are looking at. Not all outfitters are on here too fyi.

It's like fight club, but for elk unit numbers.

You have a lot of balls coming here asking for help. You’re not going to draw 38 with 10 points unless you put in for the special draw. It took 11 points this year in the regular.

Are you looking for a fully outfitted hunt or a drop camp? Chance at a trophy or just want an elk?

Disregard my original post. I see now that I'm in the wrong and will change my ways or see my way out. I originally thought this was a place for information. I was clearly in the wrong.

You will not find a drop camp n the Bighorns. DIY or guided are your options. Try Triple Three Outfitters.

Black tooth outfitter does drop camps. In big horn mtns. Just fyi if you are looking at burning 10 pts in 36-37 you need to do better research.

37-9 took 7+ in 2022 according to to wyoming website. I expect all things whoming are only going to rise, which is why I'm done earning points for 10 years. I'm going to burn them then earn enough for general units from here on out. Having a cabin at the foot of Medicine Bow in Centennial and spending a couple weeks there every season or 2 will be much better than waiting 10 years.

Check out Bighorn Pack Llamas LLC. They'll do drop camps, and are good people.
