Did you take a look at the teeth on “the freak” or get the teeth aged? Curious
I didn't but I'm sure he's an old buck. He was injured in the past as one of his back knees was the size of a baseball and solid scar tissue and his muzzle is totally bent.

Whitebone Creations has a video on him on his Instagram.

Cool headgear for sure. I have one similar, a 5x3. Found a muzzy 3 blade behind his eye sticking through his skull when we were boiling him out. It was healed over when I killed him with a 12 gauge. Tough animals.

This was a late season rut/migration hunt. The migration was late this year so the herd never showed up, but got it done nevertheless on day 7 of 9. One of my more memorable hunts to be sure.

Nice of you to let him use your pack to rest his head. Must have been a long migration!

Not the biggest set of horns on the wall, but I passed bucks this size the previous 2 years in this same canyon and this year I was solo. My wife and little girl caught a cold the day before leaving, so I was anxious to get home.

Awesome job everyone, some great achievements had this season! Glad to see there were so many people out there getting it done! Don’t forget about the conservation role of hunters too and these meat pole threads will never cease! Keep after it! Thanks for sharing!
