Very subjective. First, find a boot that actually fits YOUR foot, not some random people on the internets feet. I was hell bent that I was going to buy Kennetreks about 10 years ago to move away from the same boot I had used for 10+ years (discontinued). I tried on two pairs of them and they did not fit my feet at all.

In my opinion, finding a properly fitting and performing hiking/hunting shoe is worth just about every penny I pay for them.

Like mxgsfmdpx said, finding a boot that fits the size, shape, and arch of your foot is important and cant be done online. But I will say that I have put a lot of miles on my Crispis and they have held up amazing. Didnt need any breaking in and have never given me any hot spots or foot ache.

Great recommendations. I will say that the Crispi Briksdals fits Very narrow. If you have any kind of width to your foot I find them a difficult boot to fit. Had to send them back
