My first mule deer. I was able to be with my dad and two brothers on public land. Epic hunt. I’m a meat hunter first and weather or not it has antlers, you still have to do everything right.

We had a good weekend this year. We all tagged out and the wife found herself a dandy. I shot the 4x3 and we look down and the big boy came out of the bottom chasing a doe. 370 yard shot and she dumped him. Scored him at 168 gross. Public land.

First mule deer ever. Colorado 4th season, Thanksgiving day public land buck. Tank of a body, a pack out my back will not be forgetting anytime soon. Thank you to the Roksliders who reached out with advice! I’m hooked!

Not the largest buck, but I was glad to be able to get one . Dropped in its tracks with 6mm creedmoor, 115 dtac at 450 yards.

Certainly not a big deer, but it was an awesome stalk! Spot and stalk Mulie buck in South Dakota. Slim pickings this year.
