2023 Broadhead Recommendations

I’ve always used 100 grain Muzzy Trocars. It’s one of those if it ain’t broke don’t fix it scenarios for me.

Kudu makes a great single bevel broadhead. Great penetration and durability! Have been using the last three years and love them. Animals don’t go far. Easy to resharpen if needed!

Posted earlier in this thread, realized I hadn't bought more of the hypos the day before opening day and the local store didn't have them.

So I swapped over to Swhacker 125s, and I think I'll stick with them moving forward this season.PXL_20231001_124811714.jpgPXL_20231001_124539245.jpg

I’ve had tremendous luck with NAP Spitfire XXX… but for fixed I’m a fan of Exodus … super strong fly true…super sharp…

Anything Sevr, 1.5s for elk, 1.75-2.0 for deer. They've out performed just about every fixed blade out there. If I absolutely had to shoot fixed it would be Magnus black hornet serrazor

QAD exodus, slick trick, or any of the new one piece 2 or 3 blades that are out. Small, sharp, and tough

Currently I shoot Iron will single bevel 200g and Tuffhead 2.0 200g. Both are fantastic if your arrow setup is properly tuned to your bow and they fly well. Also shot grizzly stik massai 200g and samurai 125g before and those also worked awesome.

For less expensive options: I would go magnus all day. They just came out with some more weights and single bevel options

Have Slick Trick Viper tricks and they have been great.
Started shooting Sevr 100 gr 2 blades this year and like them so far also.

125gr Slick Trick Magnums with my 70# bow and Slick Trick Vipor Tricks with 60# bow...
