Finally getting around to this. My first Mule deer buck with a bow, September 2023. After a few years failing to get it done during archery season and a failed stalk on this guy in the velvet this was a pretty good feeling to soak in!

My buddy @SteveAndTheCrigBoys told me to share this photo here. Taken by @Taras Y this is my first deer taken. Montana public land mule deer. An exhilarating first day of hunting, ended with an epic view of the Aurora Borealis.

Colorado late season. Hunt that almost didn't happen. My company relocated me back to Ga. from Colorado in Sept. Was not sure i would make the hunt. Pulled it off after a last minute flight, borrowed gun and truck from a GREAT friend. landed in Colorado to snow falling, next day as snow let up i found this guy pushing a doe about 500 yards out. Made a stalk in closer, ( borrowed gun ) made a great shot, hunt ended a few days early!!
