This buck arrived on day 4 of our Colorado hunt. Super trip

My oldest and I were able to spot this buck bedded in some shade. It took us some work to get positioned for the shot, but with steady rest and calm, composed focus, Huntley put a perfect shot through the lungs of the bedded buck at 225 yards.

Do you have a measure of the inside spread on this buck? Trying to get a feeling for 20 inches as it’s a reg where I hunt. This is obviously a buck of a lifetime.

I don’t yet. I will next week though. Had a 5 day layover at home with the family and back to Colorado for my brothers 4th season deer tag. I haven’t had a minute on this turnaround.

That could be a 250 inch typical and it still wouldn’t be as impressive as the things you have overcome and accomplished in the last couple years. Congratulations.
