2022 Duck season

Had a little luck in Rockport, TX on Christmas Eve, shot a Green Wing Teal and two Redheads. Hoping to get on some wood ducks this Friday.

was a chilli one up here today. All the freshwater was froze and fields covered in snow. Aside from my crappy shooting, was a great day in the salt marsh. Lot of other hunters seem to do good as well.

Got after it today with my uncle and 2 cousins... 4 limits. I've never seen as many birds as I saw today. Good variety too. Great day.

My daughter and I will be out tomorrow I have a real good # draw at a refuge . Hope the hell i can shoot worth a shît tomorrow she has out shot me the last 2 outings, Im taking a box in to hunt plus a box in the truck for backup

Still a couple weeks left in our season, but today was my last day out. Had some great shoots and still lots of birds around. Seems like every year, more birds are wintering here. Anyhow, was -12 and snow a few days ago today +4 breezy and wet. A good way to finish

North Zone season is done in Ohio, but it was good to get out and spend some time in the marsh. Nothing like big groups of mallards working on a sunny day!

Got out for the first two Saturdays of early duck in S NJ. 3 shots, 3 ducks. Not bad for me. Pup was wet and happy!

Finally seeing some action on the goose side. This was a record day for us. 11 man limits and one go with 6 guys only of 32 birds.

Had a couple good hunts recently. Not many ducks but late morning mid day greenheads are sure fun! Looking at the weather I think I am done for the season.

Some good looking birds in this thread. Season here in Oregon ended last weekend; I had a fairly good one hunting the local WMA and lease - I could say I didn't get out as much as I wanted [and that would be true] but after big game, I got 21 days in the marsh, which is a good total for my season:

We get a fair number of pintail here - my favorite; a very handsome bird:



I rarely get in on divers - but when the water is high, they join the pinnies:

We had lots of eclipse birds later than normal - this is a late December sprig:

The Wigeon started showing up when the coast turns nasty:

Rarely shoot teal - as soon as I do, I end up with one. At least he was pretty:
