Shot this little bull on opening day. He was about 40 yards from me at the first shot. Used a Freedom Arms 475 Linebaugh with 385gr cast hollow point bullets.

Way cool. Took a whitetail last year with a .44 for the first time. We’ll call that a “Rickiesrevenge Starter Kit.” Hahaha

Out of curiosity, what was your load and velocity with those bullets? I’m kind of surprised you caught them, but then I suppose that was a function of the hp’s doing their job. I have the same revolver with 5.5” bbl and have only shot one doe with a 420 WFN. That one penetrated end to end, but that is what those are designed to do also!

I'm using 20gr of 2400. Not sure on the speed. Guess I should chrono them.
