When applying for elk combo tag do you automatically get entered for a limited entry? Or do you have to go back in and check mark something? If that makes sense For future reference

No, you would need to apply for the specific unit, species and season your looking for

From what I understand from this that means that you didn't draw originally, but then when people started surrendering their tags after not drawing an LE you got a released tag, so you got the best of both worlds as you didn't have to use your points. Congrats!
