Sept 19th. Solo walk-in hunt on day 18 for me this season. Put in 140 miles and 52,000 vertical feet over the past month and a half. Started to feel like it wasn’t going to happen... but kept at it. 2.5 days to pack this 11 year old ram out of the mountains and back to my truck.

Not looking to win any awards, but proud of my father with his first sheep having drawn an Alberta ewe tag. He shot it at 40 yards with his .270. He worked for it, I had the privilege to pack this sheep out 10km over 2 days for him. Great time out with family. That's one heck of a good-eating sheep!
