Guided by Diamond Outfitters on AZ Strip. Shot this buck at last light Saturday night. Thought I'd make it home in time to be with my father who was on Hospice. Made it to phone service Sunday morning and found out my father had passed. Calling him Dad's Buck.

Finally got it done in Nebraska with a day to spare before the rifle opener. My brother and I have played cat and mouse with this old buck since last season, I had him at full draw at 10 yards about a month ago but he gave me the slip. My brother had the idea to hang a tree stand in the draw they filter through, and low and behold, it worked! They are in full rut, and I heard this buck make sounds I've never witnessed before while he was chasing a hot doe. One bigger non typical still out there we have to find now!
