2015 Yukon XL - Repair or Replace (strut and AC issues)?

Update below. TL;DR - crisis averted and no need to replace. (That is a huge relief.) And yes, I'm confident I could have gotten some of these services performed for less, but the hassle factor (and waiting for parts) is a material issue for me.

Struts are fine - which is also consistent with Mrs fwafwow's comment this morning. ("Oh yeah. I forgot to mention I couldn't hear the noise when I turned off the radio and listened for it again.")

AC - needs a new compressor. Part was in stock and all in with labor was ~$900. Freon top-up cost TBD (but thanks to the RS member who prompted me to make sure I get credit for what was removed when they evacuate).

Front brakes - pad kit and resurface rotors (something I learned has been on the "soon to fix" list, now at 2mm) for $280 all-in.

i would upgrade the rotors and pads vs resurfacing. I found the brakes to be undersized and resurfacing will just mean even less rotor mass and will likely warp sooner than before.

Thanks. It's too late (they are working on it now). I will double check out if curiosity when I pick up the vehicle, but I'm pretty sure this is the first time any work has been done on the brakes.
