20” vs 22” barrel - 300 NMI

I see Ryan pierce post lots with the 22” 300 NMI. How about a 20”? I saw in a thread through digging the guys at unknown munitions are able to run the 215 Berger at 3070 in a 20” rum. It is obviously running very hot. I’d like to assume the 300 NMI can achieve that if it were a 20” configuration. I bout the deadair nomax 33 to go with it so a 9” can. My criteria is a 215 Berger at least achieving 3000 fps

Yes. 3k is certainly better than 2600

I had Berger 230gr OTM bullets going 2990fps from a 24" 300prc. May have been a little hot but they shot great

You easily get 3k from the 22 running mild. Just curious if you can get it from 20 pushing hard
