2 Person Cots

What's up everyone? Just picked up an Alaknak 12x12 and curious if anyone uses a 2-person cot with their spouse? I have an Exped Duo already for backpacking, but looking to find something for a little more "glamping" comfort and get up off of the ground.

Is there anything similar to this Teton XXL Outfitter? Anyone used this to sleep 2 people?

Thanks in advance!

I’ve looked at these a couple times.
I always wondered if the feet of the cot would cause issues on the tent floor.
The weight isn’t dispersed that well. A lot focused in one spot.

I think I’m actually going with the Lost Horizon pad.
I’d like to be off the ground but I don’t think the cot will be as good long term as the pad.

Two people on one cot sounds awful. Just get two cots.

When I use my cot in a floored tent, I put a closed cell foam pad under it. I have also put socks on the cot feet and never had any wear of the floor.

My wife just picked up one of those air mattresses as we had a few more guests than beds for an event this weekend, queen size. It's actually pretty decent. I didn't sleep on it, but laid on it. With the one we had, you can set the firmness and would be easily inflated with a jackery box or the like. The person that slept on it said she had no issues. On the cot front, my brother has the alaknak and we have never had any problems with cot feet damaging the floor.

Pick up one of those air beds noted above and bring blankets or you can do a cpl flannel sleeping bags, unzipped, with one over the other. We've done both when we were younger but you aren't really up off the ground.

I have done it with my wife multiple times using a Cabela’s XL cot. It’s fine (doable) for the most part as long as it’s not too warm out
