1st Generation Kuiu Chugach

I’ve got the first generation Kuiu Chugach hardshell set (early 2012). It’s in good shape and has treated me well. Just wondering if it’s worth upgrading to the current version or keep on rolling with it?

If it's doing it's job I'd keep using it. Replacing rain gear isn't cheap.

Not sure if there is merit, but I have heard a few people say that the original KUIU stuff was more quality. I would just keep using until it doesn't work.

I still use my 2011 Vancouver made Chugach coat and pants for truck hunts. Backpack hunts I use the 2017 Chugach as it isn't as worn and doesn't wet out as quick. I've treated the 2011 set a few times but it isn't as good as the 2017 set just due to wear on the old set.
