1990's Wildlife Artwork

I have "inherited" several prints and am curious if they have any value. These are basically Ducks Unlimited banquet prints that my father acquired in the 1990s. The frames have some scratches due to poor storage, but easily touched up with a stain pen. The earliest is the chocolate lab print from 1982 and the latest is the three Canada's on ice from 1999.

My girlfriend is adamant that we need to take them to the good will, but I'm inclined to think there is some value.

What do you all think? Are they worth trying to sell? If so, what is the value?

Just take the artist name and title of the print and look them up on line. I would think you are in the #175-$300 range +-. Unless you are in a hurry to get rid of them, selling them may take some time, there is a limited market for them. I know, I have several different ones myself.

I agree with GSP- if that's worth your time you will probably get a few hundred bucks from them. May be worth more too, depending on the artist.

I almost gave a print I inherited away a few years ago. I decided I better check the value first. Turns out it was worth about $1200.

I looked briefly on eBay and see a pretty wide range of prices from $40-$400.

I figured the market for these things is probably somewhat niche and saturated from years of banquets, etcetera.

Couldn’t tell you of value but if your going to drop them off at goodwill, pm me first. I would interested in a couple.

I have one by Owen Gromme, Long Courtship, the print alone is $500, add another $150 for the framing. Then I have a Rosemary Millette, rustic retreat pheasant, worth only $125. Gromme was a rather well know outdoors painter so his will bring more $$. A few of his were actually DU stamps.

Check online for $$$ then list them on Ebay.
