1911’s in general, 9mm versions specifically

Did we have a seperate pistol drill thread going or was that a phase of this thread that petered out?

Seems like it's time to get all these new pistols doing drills and take a break from all this accessorizing.
If you post up a new thread about pistol drills, I'd be happy to contribute. It'd be valuable and useful for a lot of people, myself included.

This one?

This one?

I was thinking this one, but can't find the post that has the description and the target:

Pistol Challenge:

25-yards, 10 rounds, 4 minutes.

15-yards, 5 rounds, 15 seconds. Do this twice.

15-yards, 5 rounds, 10 seconds. Do this twice.

Total possible score, 300 pts

Form has referenced the FBI Instructor Qualification/Bullseye Drill in a handful of threads, but I think most of them have been in general discussions about handguns, not a specific drill thread.

It's a good one to include, and I've been humbled by it a few times. I'll throw it in that thread as a reference.

Youre using a punch block right? Not just tapping against your table? (I know, dumb question but gotta ask)

Punch isn’t too big for the pin?
Tapping from the dimple side?
What does the other side of the pin look like?
Have you tried putting compression on the MSH while tapping? Or tapping on the heel of the msh with your mallet before driving the pin out?
