Anyone have experience with these at the 3000 range for 175 and the 208 at 2800?

Pig hunt requires lead free. (Land owner request)

Unless you’re running a 300PRC or something custom with a fast twist, you’ll want the 175 or 200. The 208 is a very long bullet.
Edit to add that the 175 should do fine at 3k. The 175, 190, and 200 are all suitable for 1:10 twist.

Not that it matters for you, but the 208 has been tested down to a 10 twist supposedly. Out of a 300 prc you’re going to have to get past 800 yards or so to benefit from the bc of the 208 and both are going to blow the same hole all the way through pretty much every hog in the world.

What gun are you running? You can get some DRT terminal shock in 30 cal to hand load or factory in 300wsm/300 win mag

300 wsm on a short action
300 prc.

Both bullets shoot great out of both guns with low numbers.

Didn't know if extra 30 grains really mattered. !

which one is more accurate? Terminal results won’t matter unless you are shooting stupid long range and there is rarely a need for that on a pig hunt.
