[762 ULTRAMAGA]

Anyone using the 175 eldx?
I'm looking into it for an elk load, mv will be around 2650fps with a max range of 5-600 yards

I run it in my 7 SAUM. Killed blacktail deer, caribou and dall sheep with it. I give it a thumbs up for performance. All animals drt.

Had cup/core separation on caribou at 110 yds. Cup recovered on offside hide. Did not violently explode on a deer at 35 yds. Completely through chest cavity of a sheep at 508 yds. Big exit wound.

2750 FPS. Found good accuracy there. Could’ve pushed It a lot faster but decided to stick with where it shoots best

Identical numbers from my 7saum but I’m running the 180 eldm. Killed an antelope this weekend. Impact velocity should have been around 1950fps. Thumb hole entrance and tennis ball exit.

A bit late but shot an bull at 658yds behind facing shoulder then angled to opposing shoulder with 175. Broke through shoulder penetrated meat and stuck in hide. Down in 20yds. No blood though. A bit of fragmentation and meat damage but not too bad with that shot placement.

Running 2975fps out of 7wsm loaded a bit long. Impact should have been about 2150fps. I think inside of 300 or so the result may have been a bit more violent. Not much weight retention either.
