16 man tipi

You could make it work pretty well with 4 cots. We put two cots on one side, and the other side is table, woodpile, dog bed, room to spare. Without the table and dog bed you could put two more cots over there. With the taller cots you get storage room underneath for packs, rifle bags, etc. You would just need to massage the woodpile in there a little, but shouldn't be too difficult.

I have or have had tipis in 2, 4, 6, and 12. The suggestion I would offer is this, if you are trying to decide between two sizes, go with the larger.

Thanks. I had a 6 several years ago and found it to be a 2 person car camping rig, 3 if you absolutely had to.

Something to keep in mind about tipis, due to their slanted sidewalls. Total floor square footage tends to be deceptively large. The actual area available for sleeping and gear (anything taller than 18" will be less. The area which is high enough to allow sitting on camp chairs is even less. The area which allows a man to stand up straight and move around is small in relation to total square footage.
