Man this might be a record for zombie thread resurrection, but I sure got a chuckle out of what I thought I wanted 8 years ago in glass.
I ended up with 12x50 Meoptas and used those hard for about 6 years. They were awesome...easily one of the better gear purchases I've made.
I ended up selling them and now rotate between a relatively large stable of binos depending on the situation, none of them Vortex anymore because almost all of them broke or failed at some point.
For what I was originally attempting to do in 2017, those 12x50 Meostars I ended up with were darn near perfect.
