Thinking it's about time for a newer pickup. I have a 09 King Ranch at the moment. Love it, but it's getting some miles and starting to rust and I think it's time to send it down the road.

Anyone having any issues with the 2015+ Fords? They're aluminum so they shouldn't rust, anyone having any corrosion issues with them? Any electrical issues or mechanical issues? I'd probably prefer a 5.0. 6.5ft box and a 36 gal tank is a must.

My 09 has been pretty good. A couple little things here and there but nothing I cant google and then fix. Seems like any problems I've had have been pretty common with a lot of info about them online.

So 2015+ ford or is it time to switch to a Toyota??

I just picked up a ‘19 crew cab with eco-boost, and I have no issues so far.

F-150 XLT FX4 Off Road with a 3.5 Eco-boost and am at 105K miles with zero issues but does rattle a little when I start it but otherwise no problems. Think I should trade in on a new one or +hold on for another 200K`?

I will never buy a Ford again. Had constant problems with my 13 f150 oil leaks and check engine lights all the time. Bed was already rusting through. Total piece of crap.

I’ve had 2014 3.5 ecoboost 4x4 Great rig no issues-traded at 133k. Next was my first 2018 2.7 ecoboost 4x4 to 80k zero issues amazing truck. Got another 2018 with 20k currently at 84k. Currently dealing with transmission issues. I hunt hard in it-amazing hunt rig (super quiet). Recently replaced transmission on 2nd transmission and needs replaced again. Also overheat issues climbing a peak in NV this last weekend hunting. Going to put in shop I’ll post results of everything. Still love the truck but little sad on this latest one. 9A52E4EC-E767-4AAE-9BE9-937E6580805A.jpeg

A couple of us at work drive them for company vehicles. On the 2015’s, both trucks had the display screen / radio burn out. Other guy sold his to a friend’s kid, and I believe they were having a head gasket issue. On the 2018 and 2019, the 10 speed transmissions seem to suck. Slow and steady acceleration has some loud clunking. My 2018 needed the differential repaired or replaced at 55k miles. Covered under warranty. All 4 had problems with the sunroofs. I wouldn’t get a sunroof again.

I’ve owned both a 2015 and 2017. No problems. I moved up to a 1 ton for the towing. Miss my half tons. I may end up with another one.

2016 F-150 w/ 5.0 V8 Lariat. The best truck I have ever owned and I’ve had them all. Rides like a Cadillac and tows our travel trailer through the mountains with ease.

I bought a leftover 19 February of 2020 and so far I really like it. I have pulled a loaded down 16’ box trailer the last two years from Indiana to central Colorado over the continental divide and it did great both trips.

2016 F-150 crew cab, best vehicle I’ve owned to date. Going great at 108k miles. Smashed it up some 2 years ago and couldn’t wait to get it back from the shop.

Got a crew cab 5.0 2016 xlt premium 4x4. Love the truck. Lift with 35s. I think the front end/grill is the best out the of last 20 years of fords. Have 80k on it. No issues other than aftermarket stereo/ac controls get goofy every 3-4 months.
