That’s the route I went and am very happy with it. 8x32 el range TA and 14x. If it’s really long distance glassing then I leave the 14s and bring the STC big eyes. The 8x and 14/15x is a really nice combo for general western hunting. Only reason I would go back to 12x NL is if I was doing a lot of backpack hunting and didn’t want to bring two binos.So this begs the question of a 8x32 and 14 setup. This is appealing to me. I like the weight of my NL12s on my chest. But sneaking down to a 32 bino and having 14s in the bag is appealing.
