can you glass comfortably for any length of time with putting these on a tripod ?

Yes. I've spent 6+ hours a day behind them. Periods of rest of course but only bino's that have never given me a head ache.

PS, the headrest is worth it.

I use mine off hand a lot. Better than other 12’s I’ve used off hand but obviously not ideal

I think 8x and below is the right mag for off hand, but for a 12x the NL do good hand holding

If you have glassed off hand with 10x it will feel similar, I assume the FOV is why
