Hey guys fairly new to running a 10x10 tarp instead of a tent. I like the versatility of all it's uses over a ul tent. I know a few decent pitches but was wondering if anyone would post a pic of their favorite pitch so I could possibly learn a few new good ones. Thanks

Welcome.

Seek Outside DST tarp is a favorite 10x10 around here. I am partial to a flying diamond pitch for mine, if I have the right space and tree to tie off. I really like when I can tie off to two trees and don't need a pole.

This thread has about 10 pages of DST goodness and some good pitch pics.

Lots of different ways. I like this method for keeping wind and rain out.

Side question, have you ever had anything come inside with the front open? Like a bear sniffing around or cat?

Looks like a good tarp! Nice amount of guy loops!
Trying to decide on one to carry while scouting and hunting. Been caught in weather a few times.

Similar pitch just a little lower. It rained the majority of that weekend and everything stayed dry.

This pyramid shape is nice and opens up quick and easy for a very large awning in good weather
