I think your done, that’s great. I have a stock on the way and then hopefully I can duplicate that group. 22” tube so maybe a few more fps.

That’s awesome performance. I’m getting heavy ejector swipe at 40.5gr in virgin PPU brass. Not sure what the speed is, but hoping it settles in after its fire formed. I’m at 16inches otherwise same specs as you

I was starting to see a little pressure at 41g of h4350 with virgin perterson brass, it was shooting 1.5moa for 10, 40g was .6moa. I didn’t check velocity yet but I’m assuming I will settle in around 40ish even after it’s fire formed.

That’s some great performance! I think I’m going to switch powders to h4350

Interesting. I see a lot of folks running 41+. I’ve loaded enough to know it’s different for every rifle, but interesting either way. I’m not getting to cute with it until all the brass is once fired and the barrel has 50rds or so.

I was expecting to go higher myself, after trying 109s and getting nowhere I just loaded these 2 charges with the 108s to see if they would show any promise. I’m thinking I could safely run the 41g load but I would bet at 41.5 I would start to see a faint swipe, I was starting to see the slightest ejector imprint at 41 in the right light.

Little bit different but same projectile, my 18" 6 creed is pushing 108eldms 2960 with a case full of n555 with the accuracy you're looking for.

Got surprised a bit today. Right at .020 off the lands, Hornady 108 eldm and 42.1 grains of H4350. Win LRP, Starline brass, once fired.

Gun is a Tikka with an 8 twist. Maybe 200 rounds through it.

I'll back it off to 41.5gn most likely as I know it's accurate there too and check speeds. No pressure signs last time I shot those. Flattened primers with this load.

@Littlechief , where are you at with the staball now? I'd considered trying it but didn't want to burn the 243 out faster than it will be now.

This load shoots somewhere around 1moa for large round count groups. Great accuracy. I get flattened primers and had seen a few light ejector swipes in 80+ weather, but that was with brass that had already been over pressured and the web was larger, which I think contributed to it. Nothing alarming.

In September, somewhere around 250-300 rounds on the barrel, I had an average velocity of 2985.

At 400 rounds, I measured speed again. 5 loads on the brass. I had been annealing every time, but I didn't with this load. I doubt it made this much difference. Last weekend, I measured it at average of 3040 for 10 rounds. Measured with the $100 Caldwell Chrono. It's always seemed accurate when set up correctly, so I'm confident in my measurements.
