Will I ever have enough for the red desert units? I think I'm willing to hold out and build points for a few more years if need be. I really want a B&C pronghorn. What would you do with 10 points?

I agree with this. I drew the Red Desert, about 3 years ago with max points, but thought I was a shoo-in for a couple years prior. If you are a non resident you are wasting your time those are 17-max points unit and they don’t stay the same they go up. Every year. You will not catch up. And those units got crushed in the 22 blizzard.
Just started buying WY antelope points for a special trip with some friends in 4 years. What will 4 points get you?
This is truly the best way to look at it.Less in 4 years than what they'll get in 2026.
Yes I have killed 9 pronghorn, the biggest was in NM on a 2% chance off drawing. That was three years ago, he scored 78 and some change. Yes they are hard to field judge. Just exploring options. ThanksHave you hunted pronghorn before, can you field judge them accurately?
If no I'd look for an outfitter for a book buck or really brush up on field judging them.
I have 1 B&C buck and had no clue he was that big when I shot him.
Mass is hard to judge.
8 never thought it was easy to kill a b&c as I have killed 9 pronghorn biggest being 78+. Thanks for the info, I'm just exploring ideas from others .If you are a non resident you are wasting your time those are 17-max points unit and they don’t stay the same they go up. Every year. Buy a NM landowner tag if you must have a B&C antelope. I don’t think that’s as easy of a task as you think it is.
