Are Vortex Razor UHD refurbished the best deal on binoculars?

The 10x42's are my fave. They are a bit long but these are my go to. Sierra is your best friend for these. Managed to pick up 3 pair for a little over $3k (8x32, 10x42, and 18x56). The 18x56 are my new spotter.

Are Vortex Razor UHD refurbished the best deal on binoculars?

At this point - the law of diminishing returns kicks in really hard to get that extra 10% of performance in some area's. However, you get bragging rights. I picked up a couple pairs of UHD's for $2100 - the 18x56 and 8x32. I got lucky on a demo pair at Midway with a 20% coupon. They are...

Razor UHD's can be found refurbished at Sierra and Europtic has the 8x42 for $949. Alpha glass and build.

    Scope parallax - hunting

Side focus helps quite a bit with FFP, sharp image view, and max magnification. This is my experience and YMMV.

vortex HD 8x32 vs 10x42 binos

I have the UHD 8x32, 10x42, and 18x56 (spotter replacement). The UHD 10x42 are my favorite despite being portly for a 10x42. The extra "x" punch makes for a great view. Check Sierra & Dvor for great pricing on Vortex bino's.

So a larger tube contributes absolutely nothing vs a smaller all things equal?

Own any LPVOs? There is a noticeable difference between the FFP 1-6x vs the 1x8 Credo (yes, I own both). The high end 1-8/10 FFP are damn incredible vs the traditional 1-4/6. The latest version of the upper end 1-10x's are worth considering. I like the 34 mm tube as I feel that it gathers more...

Typo on my part earlier regarding the 24 main tube. Jumping up to a 28 is noticeable - not huge but noticeable ( I have the Credo FFP in 1x6 and 1x8 - and the 1-8x is a totally different optic). The 1-6x is very good and the 1-8x is exceptional. The entrance of the 1-8/10 LPVO is noticeably...

    Which Leofoto ball head?

The MH55 moved pretty easy on a light AR despite tightening it down. Gonna try the LH-40.

    Which Leofoto ball head?

Just got a MH55-LRC and it will not lock out completely. Am I doing something wrong?

I have their LPVO and MVPO - incredibly clear glass. They are not know for their durability. More tests from Aaron at Sage Dynamics - Great review.

O I suggested LPVO / MVPO. "Allow me to point out 400 yards. LPVO and MVPO if you want to jump up to a 2.5-10x and 22oz." Let's review what he posted: - Africa, Alaska, and Western - inside 400 yards - light weight - Durable - good low light (34mm main tube) The downside to most LPVO/MVPO is...

Lol..Some things they do get right. Gotta love the AR15, AR10, and M1A platforms. I suspect the M1A may be a tad more reliable than other semi-auto 308's. ACOGS, VCOGS, Accupoints, are damn good and reliable and can take a beating. Proven track record - that cannot be denied. The M1A / Sage and...

Allow me to point out 400 yards. LPVO and MVPO if you want to jump up to a 2.5-10x and 22oz. Any of the recommendations are solid including the Razor. For your consideration. If the 2.5 -10x Leupy MK IV didn't pass - allow me to suggest - it is a sample of one. That scope is legendary with...

Please do tell - LPVO and 2-10x Trij VCog ? Trij Credo? Trij Accupoint?? Vortex Razor / AMG?? Leupy Mk4?? Leupy Mk 4 are standard issue on M1A...Semi Auto 308 on a M1A chassis is a big can of recoil. Check out Sagedynamics on Youtube- Aaron does drop rest on concrete 3x's with LPVO's. Allow me...

    Which Leofoto ball head?

Good info -many thanks. Going to look for one. The MH50 moved with about 10lbs on the rear stock. The rifle was 8lb.

    Which Leofoto ball head?

Does the MA30 really lock the rifle in when tightened down? I'm in the process of looking for a shooting head. Unfortunately, the MH50 didn't work out.
