Very cool to see an ultralight company embracing the hunting market! I've looked at your Skyline fastpack for a while now, very different from hunting but I've liked what I've seen and would love to see what hunting gear OV releases.
I got the Tracker ESCs based on all the posts here a few months back and have been loving them! I have only ever worn heavy logger heeled fire boots or trail runners when I'm in the woods, have never worn a barefoot shoe before and it felt like these were almost made for my feet as soon as I put...
Sumtoy customs also makes some nice chokes in wide constrictions and the owner is pretty active on other turkey hunting forums, there is a lead time though.
I keep mine on the outside of my pack for easy access and turned on although with tracking turned off. I don't carry it because I'm worried about me but because I don't want search and rescue out putting themselves in harms way for longer than needed trying to find me.
I would definitely recommend bringing a puffy along for glassing especially. I don't wear my down at all when I'm doing anything active but it's perfect for spending a lot of time sitting in one place.

Apex is great and widely available, #9 apex seems to be the standard as this thread shows. Another company I've read good things about but haven't tried yet is Burgess Creek.
I use a down quilt not a bag but I just shove it into my pack and let it take up any empty space. I find this to be easier and more comfortable than trying to deal with stuff sacks, I do the same thing with my clothing. I do use a pack liner to keep everything dry of course.
I have used lighterpack for years and it still seems to be the standard in the ultralight "scene" but I am finding myself switching to pack wizard. For one thing, I like that I can easily copy gear lists I see on it vs. trying to manage a bunch of bookmarks of lighterpack links.
I figured, it's about time for me to post instead of just lurking! I have somewhat of a background in ultralight backpacking or at least thinking about it since my 2015 PCT thru attempt and am just starting to pursue getting into hunting with the plan being to start with my first turkey season...
