    Practice the 2 second shot, draw and release within 2-3 seconds, sometimes that’s all you’ll get. Don’t “be ready”, practice drawing and shooting in 2 seconds. At first your groups go to hell, but you eventually dial in to releasing at the first good look. It builds confidence in the rush.

    Passing up smaller bulls

    My first was small 5x5. I was totally amped, but we saw much bigger in the area. I've been holding out for a mature one for the area. Maybe this year, but I'm running out of time at 64. I'll shoot a cow on the last day, love the venison.
