    Most inverters will fit nicely under a seat of your rig. Another option might to be just to get some dry ice from the grocery store. We do that here with fish.

    .243 for moose

    The other thing to consider in Alaska ( I live in Kenai) is do you feel comfortable shooting at a griz with that 243 or you going to carry a secondary. Most griz are coming off the salmon and starting to chase moose during moose season.

    I’m curious as to a good watch in general that won’t break the bank. Solar is neat but here in kenai our sunlight is getting shorter right now and the weather is starting to get very unpredictable and most days we have over cast. And my winters the sun isn’t out much more than a couple of hours.

    Hey every one, just a general question about merino wool. When is it time to get rid of it? I have a few articles of merino but they starting to get thin and a little more itchy than regular wool. Just can’t justify giving up. Any advice?
